Chapter II The space

Where family memories are made

Gather your whole family on 4,000 m² of private garden — sauna, hot tub under the stars, a boat and ancient oaks. Room to be together, space to breathe apart.

The space

Preikestolen Villa is a spacious private villa for families and groups who want to experience Rogaland properly — with room to breathe, genuine privacy, and everything you need for an unforgettable stay. Set on approximately 4,000 m² of land with manicured gardens, ancient oak trees, a greenhouse, a stream, and multiple outdoor areas. Plenty of space to be together — and room to find your own corner of quiet.

Highlights

  • Wood-fired Skargards Regal 220 hot tub (8–10 guests)
  • Private sauna
  • Fire barrel and three indoor fireplaces
  • Fully equipped kitchen with dining for 12
  • Loft lounge with 65" TV + additional TV on main floor
  • Five bedrooms + loft
  • 14-foot boat with 9.9 hp motor (April–November, by arrangement)
  • Large garden with terraces, seating areas and stream

Sleeping arrangements

Comfortable beds for 12 adults in standard bedrooms. With additional sleeping options, up to 15 guests can be accommodated in total.

Quiet neighbourhood with minimal traffic and excellent privacy — just 25 minutes from Preikestolen and the Lysefjord.

Best suited for

Family holidays, multi-generational trips, groups of friends, and work retreats needing space and tranquility. This villa is best suited for guests who value peace, nature and quality time together — not for events or parties.

Reviews 5.0 ★ on Airbnb

The property is even more impressive in real life — peaceful, private, surrounded by nature, and perfectly designed for relaxing and spending quality time together. The house has a warm and luxurious atmosphere while still feeling cozy and welcoming.

— Max, May 2026

An amazing house in a peaceful location, with beautiful views and within easy reach of the Pulpit Rock hiking trail. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The sauna has the most perfect ratio of size to heater power.

— Elena, group of 11, May 2026

You can immediately see that the owners love their house — everything is selected to the smallest detail. It was comfortable for our large group of 13. The children loved the hot tub. That's our 100% recommendation.

— A guest, April 2026

Einfach wunderschön. Stilvoll, gemütlich und bis ins jede Detail durchdacht eingerichtet. Niemand wollte am letzten Tag abreisen.

"Simply beautiful. Stylish, cozy, considered down to the smallest detail. No one wanted to leave on the last day."

— Three families, Easter 2026 · German

Stort, flot og rummeligt, og vi nød aftener med spil, grin og hygge foran pejsen.

"Large, beautiful and spacious — we loved the evenings of games, laughter and hygge by the fireplace."
